How the Program Works
Participating organizations gain access to a shared fleet of refrigerated cargo vans designed specifically for food recovery and distribution. These vehicles are equipped to safely transport perishable goods, helping ensure food reaches communities fresh and ready to serve.
This shared model allows organizations to expand their reach without the burden of purchasing, maintaining, or managing vehicles independently.
What participating organizations contribute
- Volunteers and/or drivers to support partner or participating organizations' operations
- Fuel costs associated with vehicle usage
- Pickup and delivery schedule logistics
- Participation in a shared system designed to maximize efficiency
