Why: 2022 has been a challenging year for so many of our friends and neighbors. Seniors and persons with disabilities have been especially impacted during COVID-19 and unfortunately, for a large number of seniors, isolation and loneliness are a growing reality.

Paratransit, Inc. has been fortunate enough to work with many great local service providers to help support seniors who need assistance during COVID-19. Efforts such as the Great Plates Delivered program and boxed meal distributions with Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services inspired the team at Paratransit to help spread cheer during this holiday season. Thus, Winter Wish List was created to collect items that will bring warmth and coziness and a visit from our friendly drivers right into the homes of area seniors.

What: Winter Wish List – an annual tradition from Paratransit, Inc.
to collect and distribute cozy and engaging items to the area
sheltered seniors.

When: Collecting of the donation items runs from October 31st to December 14th with the delivery of special care packages to area seniors during the first weeks of December.

Who: Paratransit, Inc., the local leader in mobility management for the past 40 years, is coordinating this effort in partnership with the Sacramento Republic.
